Star Wars Battlefront Reveal on Friday to Be Live-Streamed

While we already know DICE is planning to unveil our first look at Star Wars Battlefront this week for those attending the Star Wars Celebration, it seems even non-attendees will be able to join in the fun.

According to the official Star Wars site, “highlights and more than 30 hours of exclusive video content” from the event will be live-streamed — and yes, that includes the Star Wars Battlefront reveal, which will take place on Friday, April 17 at 10:30 a.m. PDT/1:30 p.m. EDT.

Additionally, the Star Wars Celebration site has also been updated with an official description for the Battlefront panel.

Join the talented team from DICE as they give fans their first look at Star Wars Battlefront and debut the official reveal trailer for this highly anticipated game. Learn how unprecedented access to the Lucasfilm archives and the award-winning Frostbite technology is helping to create an immersive experience that is truly ‘most impressive.’ DICE will also show fans how Star Wars Battlefront will give them the chance to live out their epic Star Wars battle fantasies.

Other panels to be live-streamed include film director J.J. Abrams, and actors Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher who’ll be reprising their roles once more as Luke and Leia Skywalker.

In other Battlefront news, we learned yesterday that Xbox One users will be able to play Battlefront this year first, most likely due to EA’s Access subscription service.

Make sure to check back here on PlayStation LifeStyle as we’ll make sure to post the reveal and whatever details we catch from the unveiling.
