Some new details have emerged concerning the frame rate and resolution of the upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
While it was previously hinted at that the game will have a resolution 1080p on the PlayStation 4, that information has now been confirmed. It has also been confirmed that both the Xbox One version of the game and the PS4 version will run at 60 frames-per-second (fps), although the resolution of the Xbox One version has not yet been revealed. On the PC, the shooter will apparently be able to run at 60fps at an impressive 4K resolution.
Black Ops 3 will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 6, with no word yet if the game will also come to last-gen consoles. It has been confirmed, however, that Treyarch will not be developing PS3 or Xbox 360 versions of the game if they do launch.
