Carnivore Studio has revealed early footage of its upcoming horror and exploration game, Kodoku. Announced in January last year, the game is set to release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, but we’ve heard very little about it until now. A note on the developer’s website states that “a million things happened to multiple members of the team” including family commitments, and that the team was looking for some “serious money” as well.
In Kodoku, player will assume the role of a collector who travels to an abandoned island in search of a rare book. The island is haunted by entities from Japanese mythology. Players will have to investigate these, and attempt to escape the island safely with spells at their disposal. Kodoku also includes stealth elements.
There’s still no release date for the game but we’ll update our readers when more details become available.
