Next Sherlock Holmes Game From Frogwares Set to Launch in 2016

If you liked Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, then, you’ll be glad to know that a follow up is set to launch next year.

In a press release, Bigben Interactive announced a publishing contract with Frogwares — creators of Crimes and Punishments and its predecessors. While the series was only available for PC initially, Frogwares’ Sherlock Holmes series — over the course of seven games — became more ambitious, with the last three games also released on consoles. According to the press release, more than five million games to date have been sold worldwide since the series’ launch.

Of course, it can’t be an announcement without blurbs, right? And here’s a few straight from the big bosses of Bigben and Frogwares.

Alain Falc, CEO of Bigben Group:

We are very happy with this partnership. We will provide Frogwares with excellent distribution and maximum media exposure for their Sherlock Holmes series.

Waël Amr, CEO of Frogwares studio:

We are delighted to team up on the development of a new Sherlock Holmes game with Bigben. We look forward to seeing this partnership flourish over the coming months, taking advantage of the energy they are ready to bring to the table. In our turn, we are committedcommitted to creating an engaging content that will satisfy any gamer willing to challenge their inner Sherlock Holmes.
