Arriving a year after the last-gen version of the game (check out our review), Deep Silver announced today that Risen 3: Titan Lords Enhanced Edition is coming to PlayStation 4 on August 21 in North America and Europe for $39.99 as a digital title. A physical release will happen in UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain and Nordic territories.
Running at 1080p and “a solid 30fps,” Risen 3 on PS4 features “advance lighting, shadows and textures that are comparable or better than the PC version on Ultra settings.”
Deep Silver talked about how the PS4 version will surpass the original PC version:
Risen 3: Titan Lords – Enhanced Edition even graphically surpasses the original PC version in a number of areas — with higher resolution textures across the board, the introduction of new state of the art post-process effects such as bokeh depth of field and HDR bloom effect, and an all-new volumetric cloud system that adds even more spectacular skies and sunsets to the dynamic day-night cycles.
The Enhanced Edition also includes all updates and DLC released for the game – Fog Island, Uprising of the Little Guys, and The Adventure Garb.
