New The Witcher 3 Update in Development, Small Text Size & Frame-Rate Issues Being Looked Into

With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt receiving update 1.01 in North America and update 1.02 in Europe prior to launch, CD Projekt Red’s Marcin Momot revealed on Twitter today that they are currently working on another patch for the PlayStation 4 version and it “shouldn’t be long until it’s out.”

While Momot wouldn’t say what’s coming in the next update, he did confirm that CD Projekt Red is working on fixing frame-rate and stuttering issues.

Additionally, following numerous complaints on their forums, NeoGAF, and many other places about the small text size, Momot said, “We are looking into this issue right now. Hoping to find a solution soon.”

To help with the small text size, make sure your HUD settings are set to large in the options. Also, while it isn’t a permanent fix, you can use the PS4’s zoom feature (press the PlayStation button + square after activating it in the accessibility options) to zoom in on the screen.

Finally, if you were wondering, “There is no level cap” for Geralt.

What fixes would you like to see for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt?
