It was a huge debut week for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, as it became the biggest selling week 1 title of 2015 so far in the UK, outselling previous #1, Battlefield Hardline, by 53%. On top of that, the PlayStation 4 version saw 63% of total sales.
The Witcher 3 also saw a huge increase in sales from The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, outselling its predecessor’s week 1 by just 608%.
Elsewhere, Farming Simulator 15’s console launch helped it climb up to #2, Grand Theft Auto V continues to sell well in 3rd, and retailer bundles helped Bloodborne increase by 286% and jump 22 places to finish in 11th.
