Amazon.co.uk has been sending out emails to its customers, informing them that the Limited Edition of Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This news follows the last-minute cancellation of the Batmobile Edition, which evidently upset quite a few fans.
Emails obtained by various news outlets indicate that the delay only affects Amazon.co.uk customers.
We wanted to let you know that Batman Arkham Knight – Amazon.co.uk Exclusive Limited Edition from your order will be delayed as the manufacturer has advised us that there’s been a packaging quality issue.
We want to ensure that your order reaches you in pristine condition and your item, with the updated packaging, should be with you no later than 14 July, 2015.
The good news is that Amazon will be sending out download codes to all affected customers so that they can play the game upon launch.
