A lot of Shenmue fans were wondering (and in fact, we seriously just got done recording a podcast in which we ask this out loud among ourselves) what the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter stretch goals beyond the $5 million mark would be, especially after Yu Suzuki’s “10 million for true open world” remark.

This is kind of bittersweet. On one hand, it’s nice to know more of what could lie ahead, but on the other, with the way the Kickstarter has stagnated, it might all end up being a sad reminder of what could have been.
