DICE’s General Manager, Patrick Bach, recently revealed that a single-player mode was “never in the plan” for Star Wars Battlefront. However, the game will allow players to play solo or cooperatively with bots online and offline. When a Reddit user asked what the replayability is like for single-player missions, Level Artist Daniel Cambrand responded by saying that he personally found the replay value to be “very high.” He wrote:
Personally I have found the replay value to be very high. We have had an internal competition at the office where we battled over a case of beer, who would get the best time on the Tatooine Mission that was shown on E3, and we have been playing that Mission over and over and over. It is really fun, changing your tactics slightly every time and trying new ways, especially when you start to compare round time with your friends and colleagues.
Hopefully, this means some quality play time for those who are interested in the single-player missions.
Star Wars Battlefront will be available this November on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For more on the game, check out our previous coverage.
