The latest bit of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gameplay footage has gotten some fans concerned that the game’s graphics have been downgraded, but Producer Ken-ichiro Imaizumi recently took to Twitter to say that isn’t the case.
When a user mentioned that it looked like shadows in the recent gameplay video weren’t up to par, and that there were some “sallow colours,” Imaizumi responded by saying that it “Should just be lighting tuning.” He also mentioned that downgrades are not done this late in a game’s development cycle, anyway.
We don’t change grade system in last phase, it have to be done long long time ago. Should be just lighting tuning. https://t.co/fVW1UMncY9
