FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi will be the face of FIFA 16 when it launches this September, and joining him will be stars that over nine million people around the world voted for. With the upcoming title marking the first time that Women’s National Teams will be included in the game, we will see a female athlete appear on the cover for the first time by popular demand.
The Australian cover will feature Stephanie Catley, and one other player who will be revealed on August 13. Other cover stars include Liverpool FC’s Jordan Henderson for United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, C.D. Guadalajara’s Marco Fabián for Mexico, Antoine Griezmann from Atlético Madrid for France, Chelsea FC’s Juan Cuadrado for Latin America, and Shinji Kagawa for Japan.
FIFA 16 launches on September 22 in North America and September 25 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
