Tekken X Street Fighter Is “At a Pretty Far Stage Into Its Development,” Says Harada

It’s been five years since Tekken X Street Fighter was announced, but we’ve heard very little about the game except for being told that it’s still being developed. In a recent interview with Famitsu magazine, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that the game is well into development. When jokingly asked whether Bandai Namco had forgotten all about it, he said:

That’s not true! I’ve been saying this since before, but the fact of the matter is that we’re at a pretty far stage into its development.

Harada went on to say that the game’s character lineup was decided quite a while ago, and that the developers have already finished work on quite a few aspects of the game.

It might seem like we haven’t started on it at all, but the character lineup has been decided upon since a very long time ago, and we’ve already finished the polygon models, moves, and systems.

Well, that’s some reassurance.

We’ll update our readers when more details become available.
