With Dead Island 2 hitting one development roadblock after another, it seems the zombie game has hit yet another snag.
In a press release, Deep Silver has announced that it has parted ways with German studio, Yager Development for undisclosed reasons.
With Dead Island 2, Deep Silver has always been dedicated to delivering the sequel that Dead Island fans deserve.

Other than the statement, no status update on the game has been given other than Deep Silver stating:
We will continue working towards bringing our vision of Dead Island 2 to life, and we will share further information at a later stage.
This isn’t the first time publisher Deep Silver has had issues with the Dead Island franchise and studios, as original developer Techland has hinted at tension between the two last year.
