At QuakeCon 2015 today, Bethesda and id Software announced that a Doom Multiplayer Alpha will be arriving in the coming months on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
For participants in the Doom alpha, Bethesda will be choosing players at random from the Wolfenstein: The New Order beta pool, so make sure you’ve redeemed your Doom beta code at wolfenstein.com/doom to be eligible. If you purchased The New Order digitally though, “you’re already set — you have a digital entitlement that will ready you for the Alpha when it starts.”
As for the Doom beta, that’s coming next year before Doom’s Spring 2016 release and will be available to everyone who pre-ordered The New Order and redeemed their code.
To celebrate QuakeCon this week, Bethesda is running a sale that discounts The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, The Evil Within Season Pass, and DLC for Dishonored, Fallout, and Skyrim.
