The creative direction of Lords of the Fallen 2 has been changed following the departure of Executive Producer Tomasz Gop.
Speaking with Eurogamer Poland, CI Games explained that Gop and the company had “different visions for further development” of the game, resulting in Gop’s departure. CI Games continued by explaining that it wants to reach a larger audience with Lords of the Fallen 2, and so it’s developing a “richer story” and a “robust fighting system.”
We’re grateful for his input, but we have different visions for further development of the series and Tomasz will not be a part of CI Games’ progress.
We want to reach a wider audience for this game. That’s why we’re building a richer story. We’re aware that these aspects could’ve been better in first game, so the story is a big point of the sequel, along with robust fighting system. We want to bring something fresh to RPG games.
Lords of the Fallen 2 is set to come out sometime in 2017. How do you think the change in executive producer will impact the series?
