Even though Silent Hills was cancelled, game designer Hideo Kojima and movie director Guillermo del Toro, the creative force behind the cancelled horror game, plan on creating a new project together.
In an interview with IGN, del Toro mentioned that he is still in touch with Kojima, and the two want to work on another project together. However, that project won’t be Silent Hills, del Toro explained.
I love working with Kojima-san. We are still in touch. We are still friends and working into doing something together, but that’s not going to be [Silent Hills].
