Bungie has already promised Destiny‘s “biggest raid ever” alongside new gear and a revamped leveling system in the upcoming expansion, The Taken King, but there’s more than that. Speaking to IGN during gamescom 2015, Marketing Relations Manager Eric “Urk” Osborne said that the expansion will come with a “huge” arsenal update.
“We’ve got more weapons and gear than were in the shipping game back in September 2014,” said Osborne. Players should expect “tons of new exotics” and “tons of new gear” and weapons. Bungie also teased one of the new exotics while showing off parts of the story mission “The Coming War” at gamescom. “You can see the warlock gloves with electricity charging through them,” Osborne pointed out.
The Taken King will be out on September 15 for PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
