With Mass Effect: Andromeda just having been revealed last June, it’s understandable that not a lot of info about the game is known so far. However, that doesn’t mean we have to wait for the next official press release from EA to know more.
Over on Twitter, Senior Development Director Chris Wynn revealed a few new details for the upcoming sci-fi RPG. Wynn confirmed that the combat in Andromeda will be similar to Mass Effect 3.
@Linkenski your assumption is a safe one. There are some new elements that make it more dynamic, but overall similar feel.

Additionally, when asked by a fan if familiar faces from the Mass Effect trilogy will make an appearance, Wynn mentioned on how it wouldn’t “make much sense.”
@_Anderzzz story wise, it wouldn’t make much sense.

Of course, Wynn’s statement doesn’t mean we won’t see any minor characters or even major ones alluded to in Andromeda’s story. Heck, I’d be surprised if there wasn’t any at all.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is scheduled for release in holiday 2016 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
