Visceral Games is working on an upcoming Star Wars game, one that is supposed to be in the style on Uncharted, and they are doing it will the help of Motive Studios, a new EA development studio being run by former Assassin’s Creed Producer Jade Raymond. In a recent interview with Game Informer, Raymond explained that Motive actually owns quite a bit of the Star Wars game.
When asked about the work split between Visceral and Motive on the upcoming game, Raymond mentioned that Motive has “creative ownership” of around 50 percent of the game.
It’s going to be a significant portion, so the team at Motive has creative ownership over a significant portion of the game. Amy’s going to spend quite a bit of time in Montréal. But it’s probably not quite 50 percent.
What that means exactly about the eventual outcome of the Star Wars game is unclear, but let’s hope Motive Studios can handle the workload.
