From VooFoo Studios, Pure Hold’em is now available on PlayStation 4 for $19.99/£15.99/€19.99 through the PlayStation Store in North America and Europe.
The third game in the Pure series, and the first Texas Hold’em poker game on PS4, Creative Producer Shaun Read says, “We personally can’t wait to share with you what we believe to be the most realistic poker simulation game to date.”
Pushing “the limits when it comes to photo-realistic visuals,” Pure Hold’em also uses the DualShock 4 touch pad to manipulate the cards in your hand, look around the table to view your opponents, and attempt to figure out their strategies. While video chat isn’t supported, you’ll be able to use voice chat.
Just including Hold’em (that could change in the future), the game features six tables, a variety of table cloth designs and colors, three different card designs, three chips sets, and online options ranging from an Open Play poker fix to a privately hosted tournament, played between you and up to seven friends. In the coming months, more chipset packs will be made available.
Asked if you have to buy chips with real money, Read said:
You can buy chips with real cash but at the same time, you don’t have to. You can win chips on the Jokers table which has a free buy-in. You can also win up to 16k in chips each day on the High-Low game.
Are you going to be playing Pure Hold’em this week?
