Bungie Talks Blueprints in Destiny: The Taken King

The other day, Bungie did a live stream that talked about Destiny: The Taken King, including how the Blueprints will work. Now, on their official website, Bungie has just given us the full scoop on Blueprints.

Blueprints will allow players to recreate found Exotic Weapons and Exotic Armor, and found Blueprints can be shared across all characters in a single account, allowing them all to have access to the Exotic items. The Blueprints will be “stored in two collection stations near the Vanguards in the Hall of Guardians”

Blueprints will be unlocked as soon as a character finds an Exotic Weapon or a piece of Exotic Armor, and “once you have collected a Blueprint for an Exotic, you can ‘purchase’ it anew using the required forms of currency.” It was also revealed that certain Year Two weapons and armor that have redesigned from Year One can be purchased if the Year One Blueprints have been found.

Destiny: The Taken King is set to release on September 15 for PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Are you looking forward to using Blueprints?
