Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Beta Video Gives a Technical Analysis of the Shooter

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta just ended, and the folks over at Digital Foundry have already created a video that gives a technical analysis of the shooter.

According to Digital Foundry, the beta actually maintained a pretty solid 60fps experience on the PlayStation 4, only dipping by a little bit here and there. For the most part, the frame-rate is in line with the frame-rate in Advanced Warfare, which is fairly good news, considering the multiplayer beta is just that — a beta, and not a finished product.

However, Digital Foundry did note a lack of anisotropic filtering, which can make some textures appear a little blurry. But again, that is in line with what we’ve seen in Advanced Warfare. On the whole, it looks like the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta was a technical success, and it will be interesting to see if anything changes when the game fully releases on November 6 for PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
