Announced during a panel at PAX Prime, the second chapter in the King’s Quest saga is called Rubble Without a Cause, a teaser for which you can watch above. While The Odd Gentlemen didn’t specify a release date, we’re told that Chapter 2 is out this Fall. A description provided by Sierra Games is as follows:
In King’s Quest: Rubble Without a Cause, Goblins have kidnapped everyone in Daventry, and a newly crowned King Graham must learn to be the leader the kingdom needs. Players will influence his decisions along with the events that shaped the kingdom.
Continue the extraordinary journey across the world of Daventry, full of whimsical characters, charming puzzles, and perilous dangers.
King’s Quest is off to a promising start. In our review of Chapter 1, we appreciated the way The Odd Gentlemen modernized a classic, commending it for its puzzle design and script among other things. You can read the full review here.
