Update:

Bungie addressed the Raid on Twitter today:

Original Story:

Bungie’s Luke Smith has revealed that Destiny‘s “biggest raid” won’t be available on day one when its upcoming expansion, The Taken King, launches in two weeks’ time. Speaking to IGN during PAX Prime, Smith promised that players will get a heads up prior to the raid’s launch, however, the team isn’t announcing anything yet.

It’s not going to be available on day one. We definitely have a plan for when it’s going to be available. I’m not going to announce the plan for it on the youtube gaming stage. But I promise for people who are excited about the raid will know when it’s time to take time off work. We’ll give em’ a heads up.

We’ll update our readers when more details become available.

Destiny: The Taken King will release on September 15. For more on the expansion, click here.
