The Witcher 3 DLC Heart of Stone Is “Almost Ready” for Release

Scheduled for launch in October, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s first paid-for expansion is “almost ready”, according to CD Projekt RED’s Travis Currit.

The Heart of Stone expansion, which promises over 10 hours of gameplay, will mark the end of free DLC coming to the game, with bigger content packs starting to become available.

Currit also mentioned that lovers of Gwent should be excited, as there is “good news” coming for the in-game card game which has become so popular among players. With the unofficial multiplayer mod being shut down, perhaps we can expect some official support there? Only time will tell.

The Witcher 3 has now sold over six million copies, with all players able to pick up the 16 pieces of free DLC.

What are you hoping to see in the Heart of Stone expansion? And are you ready for some more Gwent support?
