It has been reported that Crystal Dynamics’ upcoming title, Rise of the Tomb Raider, will not feature a multiplayer mode. The source of this report is a snippet shared by All Games Beta on Twitter, which is supposedly taken from an article in the September issue of the Official Xbox Magazine. The image can be seen below.
Until there’s an official word from Crystal Dynamics, we’ll treat this as a report. However, it won’t be a surprise if the multiplayer component has indeed been scrapped since Tomb Raider reboot’s multiplayer wasn’t well-received.
