After taking a bit of a break from Twitter, Batman: Arkham Knight Game Director Sefton Hill returned yesterday, revealing that character selection for AR combat challenge maps is coming in the October game update, with Predator maps set to arrive in November:

He adds, “To clarify, you can choose your character on all combat and predator maps. Not just the new ones.”
You can see a sneak peek of the character selection above.
Answering a bunch of other Arkham Knight questions, Hill confirmed there is no hidden room teasing their game, as it’s Rocksteady’s last title in the Arkham series:
There’s no hidden room revealing the next game as its our last Arkham game. Sorry if you’ve been looking. https://t.co/plj2fTdW64

Here’s what else Hill had to say on Twitter:
- There are no plans for a Batman Begins/The Dark Knight suit. However, “It’s a popular request so we’ll see what we can do. No promises!”
- “Sorry to say but it’s very unlikely we’ll support full free roam with the other playable characters.”
- Turning off the blue walls is “not a simple fix as they are used so we can have challenges during the main game. We’ll see what we can do.”
- “The Tumbler does not have Battle Mode as it cannot move omni-directionally. You can use it as you use the 1989 [Batmobile].”
- Each character won’t have their own leaderboard on each map as they are “limited by number of leaderboards so there’s not one for every character on every challenge map.”
Up next for Batman: Arkham Knight, the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #2 releases on September 29:
