Built from the ground up, the new Wrap Editor for Need for Speed will “redefine how you personalize your ride,” developer Ghost Games said today.
After picking your body kit and individual parts, making some performance modifications, and tuning your handling, Need for Speed allows you to create a wrap. If you just want a simple paint job, you’ll find various options such as metallic and clearcoat, along with a full spectrum of colors.
If you want to be more creative, open the Wrap Editor:
Show off your originality on each area of the car’s bodywork and windows. Move, rotate and scale to turn simple shapes into a multi-layered masterpiece. Add decals and logos from leading brands. Apply flags, characters, letters, numbers and patterns before standing back and admiring your work. You have the power to create a vehicle that expresses your personality.
You can see some early creations from the developers in the gallery below.
Over on Twitter, the Need for Speed account confirmed you can place vinyls over the windows, vinyls can be mirrored, you can put decals and logos all over the car, and “if you can imagine it, you can probably do it.”

Need for Speed races to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 3 in North America and November 5 in Europe.
