UK Sales Chart: Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Finishes in 1st, Sells Less Than Unity

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate may have finally dethroned FIFA 16 on the UK Sales Chart, but the title underperformed overall, selling fewer copies than last year’s Assassin’s Creed Unity.

GfK Chart-Track adds, “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate surpasses with ease the other non-Ubisoft Montreal developed title Assassin’s Creed Rogue, but its launch falls short of surpassing any of the other major entries in the famous series.”

Looking at some other new releases on the chart, Guitar Hero Live debuted in 3rd, outselling Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock’s Week 1 by 24.3%. Elsewhere, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes finished in 11th and Just Dance 2016 was in 19th.

Thanks to some retailer promotions, Watch Dogs jumped up 430% and placed in 12th, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt rose 121% to reach 15th, and FIFA 14 wound up in 40th.

Here’s the top 20 selling retail games in the UK for the week ending October 24, 2015, according to GfK Chart-Track:
