As part of their latest financial report, Konami revealed that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has shipped five million copies, including downloads, as of September 30 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
For the six months ending September 2015, Konami’s digital entertainment division, which includes video games, saw revenue of ¥51.7 billion, up from ¥44 billion at the same point last year. They also saw profit of ¥12.7 billion, up from ¥7.4 billion last year.
Looking towards the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, Konami talked about expanding their lineup of games for mobile devices. They then added:
As for computer and video games, we intend to continue global introduction of titles that have been carefully chosen according to selection and concentration.
While Konami mentioned Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 in their report, they didn’t give out any sales figures.
