Destiny’s micro-transactions might be controversial, but that hasn’t stopped them from topping the PlayStation Network’s Add-On chart at least on the US storefront. Spotted and brought to light by a Reddit user, Destiny‘s Silver seems to be quite a hit with PlayStation owners already, beating Minecraft: Story Mode‘s Season Pass, and Rocket League‘s Back to the Future DLC pack for the top spots.
When contacted by Game Informer, a Sony representative confirmed that this chart includes add-on purchases in the last seven days (Silver was introduced on October 13 with update 2.0.1).

Our own community seems to be quite divided about these micro-transactions, but it’s quite clear that they’re in demand.
