Set 29 years before the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the Battle of Jakku will be available to everyone as free DLC for Star Wars Battlefront on December 8, with those who pre-order getting early access on December 1.
To get you ready for the new content, EA brought out a new teaser trailer.
The description adds:
Be among the first players to experience the Battle of Jakku, the pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts on a remote desert planet. Taking place in the aftermath of the Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor, players will experience the events that created the massive, battle-scarred landscape of Jakku shown in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Star Wars Battlefront launches on November 17 in North America and November 19 in Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
