The Game Awards 2015 Takes Place December 3, Will Feature “World Premiere Game Trailers”

Featuring “world premiere game trailers, game-inspired musical performances, and award presentations from the game industry’s biggest names,” The Game Awards 2015 will take place on Thursday, December 3 at 6pm PT/9pm ET in Los Angeles.

Streaming live on PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, TheGameAwards.com, YouTube, Twitch, Steam, go90, and more, special Game Awards Sales will be offered on PSN, XBL, and Steam, “unlocking offers for gamers to buy select digital games at a discount around the show.”

Producer Geoff Keighley said:

2015 has been a blockbuster year for gaming, and now, with the help of go90, we are going to take The Game Awards to the next level. This year we plan to put fans at the center of the show – and give them special opportunities to interact with us by using their gaming consoles, mobile devices and computers.

On the advisory board this year is Hideo Kojima, Shawn Layden (SCEA CEO), Phil Spencer (Head of Xbox),  Reggie Fils-Aime (Nintendo of America President), and more.

Tickets to The Game Awards 2015 go on sale starting Thursday, November 12, with nominees set to be announced in mid-November.

The Game Awards 2015 will take place just days before PlayStation Experience 2015, which runs from December 5 – 6.
