Among the nominees in the Game of the Year category for The Game Awards 2015, it is From Software’s Bloodborne that has earned the backing of one Shuhei Yoshida.
Taking to Twitter, Sony’s President of Worldwide Studios cast his vote for the gothic RPG, in a category that boasts strong competition: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Super Mario Maker and Fallout 4.

A self-professed fan of Bloodborne, Yoshida has been a loyal supporter of From’s title from the get-go, even earning the coveted Platinum trophy. It wasn’t the only PS4 exclusive to be championed by the Sony executive, however, who also pitched Until Dawn for Best Narrative.
Hosted once again by Geoff Keighley, The Game Awards 2015 is due to take place in two weeks’ time, and the producer hinted at some of the gaming news we can expect from the show.
Soon it will be time to start talking word premieres for @thegameawards. Developers are working on some great stuff for you.
