Rocksteady Details Batman: Arkham Knight DLC for January, November Update Now Live

As promised, Rocksteady has today rolled out a slew of downloadable content for Batman: Arkham Knight as part of the game’s November update, introducing a new Batsuit, Arkham Episodes and much more for Season Pass holders.

Releasing as part of the studio’s monthly content plan for Arkham Knight, all DLC arrived on the same day (November 24), which is a schedule Rocksteady plans to uphold in December.

Looking further afield, we now have word of what to expect for the Caped Crusader in the new year. Specifically, January will herald the launch of the Community Challenge Pack expansion, adding a series of areas from both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City as challenge maps.

Chosen from a pool of 800 fan votes, Rocksteady has settled on the following selection for the game’s content update, with Wayne Manor and Monarch Theatre acting as some of the more notable additions.

  • Predator

Wayne Manor Main Hall (Batman: Arkham City)

    Batcave (Batman: Arkham City)

Sanatorium, Medical Facility (Batman: Arkham Asylum)
  • Combat

    Iceberg Lounge (Batman: Arkham City)

    Crime Alley (Batman: Arkham Knight)

    Monarch Theatre (Batman: Arkham City)

That’s not all, the Community Challenge Pack will also encompass the game’s seventh AR challenge, and Rocksteady acknowledged that the new mode was also brought to life by fan feedback.

“We’ve been listening to you guys and one of the most interesting ideas the community has had is for an endless survival predator map. We made a prototype and ended up really liking it, so we’re bringing it to you in January.”

No word yet on whether January’s DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight will be available as part of the game’s Season Pass. December’s update, meanwhile, is set to be all about Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
