Black Friday PSN Flash Sale Confirmed, December 2015 PlayStation Plus Announcement Soon

Update 3:

The Black Friday 2015 PSN Flash Sale is live in North America.

Update 2:

The December 2015 PlayStation Plus free games in North America and Europe have been revealed.

As well, an ad on PSN Profiles confirmed that the Black Friday PSN Flash Sale is happening in North America this weekend:

Expect details to arrive this Friday, November 27 around 12pm PT/3pm ET.

Update:

Super Star Wars is now available in Europe for £7.99.

As for those of you in North America, Sony released a one-time use 10% off discount code that’s valid until December 1.

Original Story:

With Thanksgiving happening in the United States on Thursday, and the December 2015 PlayStation Plus free games going live next week, the assumption is that we’d be getting the monthly PS+ announcement tomorrow, November 25.

According to PlayStation Blog Europe Manager Fred Dutton though, details could arrive at any point in the next seven days:

[No PS+ announcement] today. At some point between tomorrow and 1st Dec is the best I can offer at present!

When asked about the PS+ unveiling on the Blog, he replied, “Soon! I’m afraid I can’t commit to a precise day/time though.”

Whatever the games end up being, they will go live on Tuesday, December 1 in North America and Europe. Stay tuned for details as soon as they’re available.

In other news, Dutton confirmed that there will be a Black Friday PSN sale in Europe, taking place on Friday, November 27. Nothing’s been confirmed for North America yet, so we could be getting a week-long Black Friday sale starting today, or more likely, a weekend Flash Sale starting on Friday.

Finally, Dutton revealed that Super Star Wars, as well as the other Star Wars PS2 Classics, will eventually come to the European PlayStation Store:

Disney hasn’t released them as standalone titles in EU yet (launch date TBC soon).

Which games do you want to see added to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection next month?
