Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that the PlayStation Store and UMD Passport Service are both set to close on the PlayStation Portable in Japan.
PSP owners will no longer be able to purchase any new content via the store, however, PSP content will still be available to purchase via the web store, the PS3 store, and the PS Vita. Previously purchased content can still be downloaded directly as well.
The PSP store and Passport service will both end on March 31, 2016.
