Here’s All the PlayStation Awards 2015 Winners

Celebrating all the PlayStation titles that performed well in Japan and other Asian regions, the PlayStation Awards 2015 recognized titles like Minecraft: Bloodborne, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Held by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia, the PlayStation Awards give out awards based on combined shipped and downloaded numbers, fan votes, and PlayStation Store sales numbers:

  • Platinum Prize – Over 1 million units shipped and downloaded
  • Gold Prize – Over 500,000 units shipped and downloaded
  • PlayStation Network Awards – Given to the three titles that had the best sales through PlayStation Network from October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015
  • Asia Special Awards – Awarded to the three titles that contributed a lot to the business in Asian regions
  • Users’ Choice – Awarded to the five titles that got the highest numbers of votes from users from Japan and the five titles that got the highest numbers of votes from users from other Asian regions.

Arranged in alphabetical order of the publishers, here’s the PlayStation Awards 2015 winners:

Platinum Prize (1,000,000 yen as a supplementary prize)

  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PS4, PS3)
  • Minecraft: PlayStation Edition (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
  • Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below (PS4, PS3)

Gold Prize (500,000 yen as a supplementary prize)
