Far Cry Primal Gameplay Video Blowout – Mammoths, Saber Tooth Tigers and More

In case you didn’t know, PlayStation LifeStyle recently had the chance to get some hands-on time with Ubisoft’s latest entry in the Far Cry franchise, Far Cry Primal, and we’ve even managed to nab some gameplay so you can check out the big changes coming to the first-person action-adventure game.

Possibly the biggest change in Primal is the game’s setting, where spears and other primitive weapons are used in place of guns, chainsaws and other modern bringers of death. It’s not only in the weapons that Far Cry Primal shakes things up; even the enemies are animals before the civilized age. Don’t expect to take down your usual grunts with guns, but instead, animals that can be both friend and foe.

Without further ado, check out our Far Cry Primal gameplay videos straight from Ubisoft’s hands-on preview event.

What do you think of what you’ve seen so far? Far Cry Primal definitely shakes things up and looks to break from the usual first-person mold. Will it pay off? We’ll know for sure once the game releases on February 23, 2016 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
