We’re just a day away from Sony’s final gaming event to close out the year, and that’s this year’s PlayStation Experience happening this weekend. While Sony brought the house down with its excellent E3 press conference, which some say is the best-ever, Sony has been on a tear when it comes to press conferences and we gather, it’s saving the best for last since PSX is the company’s own event.
With that in mind, the PlayStation LifeStyle staff weighs in on each one’s PlayStation Experience 2015 predictions and expectations in this edition of Now Loading.
Don’t forget, Sony has confirmed that “major” announcements will be on hand at the show. Needless to say, we, along with other PlayStation fans, are salivating at the thought of the megatons being dropped.
If you can’t make it to the event, we’ll of course have you covered. Not only are we posting a live-stream of the keynote so you can comment about it along with the other PSLS staff/readers, but we’ll have everything interesting bit up on the site the moment we hear about — yes, including trailers. Our own Chandler Wood and Stephen Bitto will be on the show floor taking it all in and getting some hands-on time with the latest games. If you see them, don’t forget to say hi.
What do you expect to see revealed tomorrow? Will Sony deliver or has it blown its load on its E3, TGS and Paris Games Week press conferences?
Now Loading is a recurring staff-driven feature where PlayStation LifeStyle discusses anything video game-related under the sun (yes, even non-Sony platforms).

Last year's PlayStation Experience tested the waters of how a Sony exclusive event during the usually slower winter months would be received. Even still, there were some megaton announcements (and the start of the biggest troll ever with the Final Fantasy VII port reveal) for PlayStation fans.
This year they don't need to test reactions. They know it will be well received and that the gaming world will be watching. They've been holding back all year, specifically after E3, and it seems that Sony themselves and many third party studios see this event as a prime time to reveal huge things and continue gaming's momentum into 2016.
VR will have an enormous push, with at least either the release date or final price point. We'll find out more about PlayStation VR bundles and learn a lot about Sony's plan of attack. This is Sony's stage and there's no better time to have their next huge project in the spotlight.

I will be in attendance alongside Chandler for this one and I expect Sony to go all out. We'll see the next God of War from Sony Santa Monica and another big reveal from Bend Studio. In addition to that, I believe Japan Studio will announce the return of a beloved RPG. Possibly Legend of Dragoon or Ni No Kuni? We'll hear more about PS2 emulation including what games they will be resurrecting. Fingers crossed for Socom II! Similar to offering PSX 2014 attendees the first shot at the 20th Anniversary PS4, 2015 attendees will have the first shot at PlayStation VR. Lastly, they will show off the Final Fantasy VII Remake battle engine and likely break the hearts of fans everywhere.

Oh, man! I honestly expect this one to be better than this year's E3 press conference from Sony! Yeah, that's a big claim, but let's hope I'm right.
I'm expecting more details regarding PlayStation VR. Hopefully, Sony surprises us with a release date/window or price.
I gather, we'll hear a bit about the PS4's super awesome level of success, PS2 emulation, a few new things coming to the PS4's OS and of course, the games.
I wouldn't mind seeing a new trailer for the next God of War. Maybe show us what Sony Bend is doing now, new footage from the PS4's Gran Turismo. For third-parties, I expect something -- anything -- from Square Enix regarding Final Fantasy VII Remake, maybe something from EA and Mass Effect: Andromeda or Titanfall due to the publisher's numerous marketing exclusivity deals with Sony.
Speaking of marketing deals, I think it's safe to assume that there's going to be something Destiny-related at the event. Maybe a new trailer?
At the very least though, I think we can safely assume that we'll see new Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn gameplay footage.
2016 is going to be one heck of a lineup for the PS4...provided not everything gets delayed.

I think Sony has had some strong conferences this year. But what I really want to see now, and hope Sony will focus on, are the exclusives. Granted we've had some good ones already, I think I wanna take my die-hard fan glasses off now. I expect a God of War announcement, more of Horizon Zero Dawn and Detroit, and at least one surprise announcement pertaining to a new IP. What I am predicting, however, is more of PlayStation VR, the PS2 emulation, addressing the rumor of unlocking 7th CPU core, with all the remaining time talking about No Man's Sky.

This PlayStation Experience will hopefully have the majority of time dedicated to PlayStation VR. I'm getting impatient, and really can't wait to get my hands on the new tech at home.
Oh, and new gameplay footage of upcoming games like Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War would be cool, too!

I predict game reveals and lots of trailers. Heavy focus on VR with a few nice announcements.
