Destiny Micro-Transaction Lets You Spend $30 in Each Class to Reach Level 25

With the PlayStation Store update today in Europe, it’s been revealed that Destiny owners can now spend $30 per class to reach Level 25.

Priced at £24.99/€29.99 each (expect them to be $29.99 in North America) on the PlayStation Store, the level boosters are available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and each carries the following description:

Level 25 Hunter Pack

  • This consumable pack contains a Level 25 boost for one Hunter, a Subclass Boost, and Telemetries.

Level 25 Titan Pack

  • This consumable pack contains a Level 25 boost for one Titan, a Subclass Boost, and Telemetries.

Level 25 Warlock Pack

  • This consumable pack contains a Level 25 boost for one Warlock, a Subclass Boost, and Telemetries.

As you may recall, Bungie previously released the one-time use Spark of Light consumable to new players of Destiny: The Taken King, which brought them to level 25. This new micro-transaction will allow you to purchase the boost for the other classes.

While it wasn’t level boosting, Bungie did respond to questions in October about selling King’s Fall consumables, saying, “We’re not doing that… Ultimately, the team decided that they didn’t have a place in the game, and cut them from the experience. You’re seeing some dust and echoes from the cutting room floor.”

What do you think about Bungie adding this micro-transaction to Destiny?
