Given a 2016 launch window in North America and Europe by Bandai Namco, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs-Force is releasing exclusively for PlayStation Vita.
Letting you pilot Mobile Suits and take on missions from scenarios from Mobile Suit Gundam to Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Century, here’s what Bandai Namco says about Vs-Force:
The high intensity 2vs2 gameplay of Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs-Force is based on the hit Japanese Gundam Vs franchise which has produced more than 10 titles in the past 14 years across multiple console systems and arcades in Japan. New to Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs-Force is the inclusion of large-scale Team battles. Take control of the battlefield in either single player or local multiplayer skirmishes in both 3rd person action or overhead tactical views and command Teams of six Mobile Suits and one battleship. Team battles gives ace pilots tactical control over the placement and actions of their troops as they compete to eliminate opposing forces.
Calling Mobile Suit Gundam one of Japan’s most iconic franchises exported to Western countries for over 35 years, Bandai Namco’s Eric Hartness adds, “Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs-Force gives players the chance to pilot these legendary Mobile Suits across the expansive Gundam franchise; from 1978’s Mobile Suit Gundam to the first video game appearance of characters from 2014’s Gundam: Reconguista in G and 2015’s Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.”
