Eye-popping graphics and an intriguing setting in Victorian London weren’t enough to cushion the blow of negative reviews directed at The Order: 1886 upon launch, but that mixed reaction has only fuelled Ready at Dawn’s enthusiasm to create “a better game” next time around.
Responding to a fan via Twitter, Andrea Pessino, Founder and Chief Technology Officer at the studio, was confident in the team’s ability to rise to the challenge.

Alas, Ready at Dawn’s PS4 debut proved to a textbook example of style over substance. The question now is whether the studio will stick with the PlayStation exclusive IP to carve out a sequel, or create something new entirely.
