The nominees for the 16th annual Game Developers Choice Awards have been revealed, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain lead the way with four nominations each.
The “leading peer-based video game event celebrating the industry’s top games and developers,” the 16th annual Game Developers Choice Awards will take place on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:30pm PT at the San Francisco Moscone Center during the 2016 Game Developers Conference. You’ll be able to watch the event live on Twitch, with developer Robin Hunicke, co-founder of Funomena (Wattam), hosting.
Any video game released and made publicly available during 2015 is eligible for nomination. The winners will be selected by the Game Developers Choice Awards-specific International Choice Awards Network (ICAN), “which is an invitation-only organization, comprised of leading game creators from all parts of the industry.”
