If you missed it in our weekly new releases, Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits is the next PlayStation 2 game hitting PlayStation 4, with Sony confirming it for a January 12 North American release.
Here’s the description:
For years, the Humans and the Deimos have been at war in their struggle to capture the Great Spirit Stones. To the Humans, the stones represent a magical source of power and light. To the Deimos, the stones are the viable force behind their spell-casting abilities. But fate is about to place the future of both races in the hands of two men.
A European release this week is currently unconfirmed for Arc the Lad, and we don’t know how much it will cost. So far for PS2 games on PS4, $9.99 means it doesn’t have a Platinum trophy, while $14.99 games do have one.
For the first batch of PS2 games on PS4 Sony announced prior to PSX, the only one remaining without a release date is The King of Fighters 2000.
According to ESRB ratings, future titles may include Max Payne, Ape Escape 3, Okage: Shadow King, Primal, Siren, and Wild Arms 3.
