Pushing it back by a few weeks, Imperative Entertainment announced today that Gemini: Heroes Reborn will be available for PlayStation 4 in early February, following a PC and Xbox One release on January 19. It’ll be priced at $14.99.
A first-person, action-adventure game, Gemini: Heroes Reborn sees you playing as Cassandra, a college student on a journey of discovery to unlock her incredible powers. Using telekinesis, time travel, and other abilities, you’ll explore The Quarry, an underground facility, in search of your abducted friend.
Since Cassandra isn’t the only one with super powers, and some enemies are immune to her talents, developer Phosphor Games says you’ll need to use out-of-the-box thinking, while also taking advantage of the advanced ragdoll physics, where you can use defeated enemies to help you progress.
Tim Kring, creator of Heroes, said:
Gemini: Heroes Reborn is actually an original story that shows a darker part of the Heroes Reborn universe unseen on the television series. We designed it to be a true gamer’s game that requires players to read and react to hostile situations quickly and effectively. The ability to combine or ‘stack’ multiple super powers provides a gameplay experience unlike any game yet and we are eager to see some of the creative solutions players come up with to get through the game.
Heroes Reborn airs its season finale on January 21 and there won’t be a second season.
