First mentioned back in September when the Facebook app was removed from the PlayStation Store, Sony will officially be ending Facebook support on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita/PlayStation TV tomorrow, January 20.
Revealed in an update on the Japanese PlayStation site, PS3 firmware update 4.78 and PS Vita/PS TV firmware update 3.57 tomorrow will remove Facebook link support and end support for the Facebook app.
When PS3 update 4.78 and PS Vita/PS TV update 3.57 are detailed and available, we’ll let you know. Previously, both systems were updated in September with 4.76 and 3.55.
