Ready for a dose of nostalgia and JRPG goodness? Rockstar is hosting a publisher sale in the latest PlayStation Store update, while there’s also a handful of offers scattered across Sony’s platforms.
And so, on this week’s episode of PSN Store Weekly Deals Top Picks, we cherry-pick Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy and Lancarse’s tactical RPG Lost Dimension for your consideration.

Street Fighter V - Everything You Need to Know
PS4 Console Exclusive...Forever
Announced during PSX 2014, Street Fighter V is a PS4 console exclusive which, thanks to a deal between Capcom and Sony, will never appear on another console . According to Capcom, the decision was one of mutual understanding and benefit, and according to Sony, the franchise's natural home is the PlayStation . PR talk, but you get the idea.
Unifying the Community
Street Fighter V is launching for PC alongside PS4. According to producer Yoshinori Ono, Capcom wanted to unify the fighting game's community and Sony was able to provide the kind of support that the developer needed. Ono believes it makes sense to bring the PC and PS4 community together.
Built on Unreal Engine 4
Capcom announced its partnership with Epic Games to develop Street Fighter V using Unreal Engine 4 . The developer said that it wanted to bring the title to its fans in the best possible way using the "latest and greatest technology" available.

A Pleasant Surprise
Capcom has said that it is aiming for Street Fighter V to be something no one is expecting . In other words, the developer wants the game to reflect everything it has learned in recent years, bringing one of the best experiences to date.
A Level Playing Field
Street Fighter V has been designed to level the playing field between veterans and newcomers. Yoshinori Ono has said that the gap between expert and novice will be really small this time around.
Full Gen Support
Capcom is aiming to support Street Fighter V for the entire console generation . Brand Manager Brian Ayers said that the developer wants players to be able to buy the game and jump in even years from now without missing a thing. He termed it a "bold" move from the business side of things, but one that Capcom wants to make.
Battle System Detailed
Street Fighter V will come with a new Variable System that consists of variable mechanics built around the new V-Gauge: V-Skill, V-Trigger, and V-Reversals. There is also the EX Gauge, which builds as you deal damage to the opponent. For more on the battle system and a trailer, click here .
Game Modes & Features
The following trailer showcases all of the game's modes and features. Highlighted are the tutorial mode, story mode, survival mode, and training mode alongside features such as the Capcom Fighters Network.
One and Only Disc You'll Ever Own
Capcom has reiterated on several occasions that Street Fighter V will ship on a single disc , which will be the only disc you'll ever need to own in order to access the game's content. However, there won't be any on-disc DLC .
DLC & Post-Launch Plans
Although Capcom hasn't decided on DLC prices yet, the developer has confirmed that the first wave of additional characters due to launch this year will include Alex, Guile, Balrog, Ibuki, Juri, and Urien, with Alex being the first one scheduled for release. There will also be a second wave of DLC fighters, the details for which aren't available yet.
Additional characters can be earned for free but if you want access to them as they become available, you'll need to purchase the 2016 season pass, which is available for purchase now.

Free Story Expansion
At launch, Street Fighter V will include character stories, which will provide background information on each fighter. In June, Capcom will release a free story expansion that takes place between Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter III , and “fully explains everything that transpired in that electrifying time period.”
Micro-Transactions & In-Game Store
Street Fighter V will allow players to purchase content with in-game fight money. The in-game store will launch in March, and according to the developer, "players can earn enough fight money to purchase a new character, and possibly more depending on skill level." You can also purchase content with paid currency called Zenny. Capcom has reassured fans that the micro-transactions are player-friendly and merely offer a choice.
Free-to-Play? Not This Game!
Yoshinori Ono reiterated on several occasions that Street Fighter V isn't free-to-play , denying rumors of a pay-to-win model. "Let me set this straight: Street Fighter V is a packaged game. Not free-to-play," he said.
Beta Preview
Capcom is confident that Street Fighter V will experience a stable launch, thanks to extensive beta tests that proved to be quite useful. We previewed the beta ourselves, and walked away with generally positive impressions that you can read here .
Trophy List
Street Fighter V will launch with 45 trophies including one Platinum, four gold, five silver, and 35 bronze. You can check out the full list here .
Collector's Edition & EU PS4 Bundle
Priced at $99.99 in North America, the Street Fighter V Collector's Edition will include the game disc, a 10-inch Ryu statue, and a 48-page hardcover art book alongside exclusive downloadable content detailed here .
Folks in the EU will be able to purchase an exclusive SFV PS4 bundle , which will include a 1TB Jet Black PS4 and a physical copy of the game in a themed box.
Pre-Order Costumes
Those who pre-order Street Fighter V from GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy or the PlayStation Store will have access to exclusive battle costumes, which are highlighted in the trailer below.
Licensed Controllers
Back in December, Mad Catz announced a new range of licensed Street Fighter V controllers , some of which are available to purchase now while others are up for pre-order and are expected to launch alongside the game. You can check out the full range and get pre-order info here .
Are You Ready to Hadouken?
Now that we're set for Street Fighter V to launch, Capcom has released a full-length CG trailer, showing off animated sequences for all 16 characters and hinting at their upcoming story roles. There's also the new TV spot reminding us that the wait is almost over. Check out the videos below and prepare yourselves for some fist fighting fury. Don't forget that there will be a 6-GB day-one update to ensure that PS3 controllers are compatible with the PS4 version of the game.
