In their latest This Week At Bungie, the developer announced that Iron Banner Clash is running in Destiny from Tuesday, February 23, at 10am PT/1pm ET until Tuesday, March 1, at 1am PT/4pm ET.
The rewards this time around include PlayStation-exclusive gear (above) and more:
Available from Lord Saladin
- Rank 3: Gauntlets, PlayStation Gauntlets
- Rank 4: Helmet, PlayStation Helmet, Sniper Rifle
- Rank 5: Rocket Launcher
Available as post-game drops
- Rank 2: Gauntlets, PlayStation Gauntlets
- Rank 3: Helmet, Sniper Rifle
- Rank 4: Rocket Launcher
As highlighted in update 2.1.1, Iron Banner players will no longer need to return to Orbit to receive Rank 5 package rewards, Lord Saladin will now display a waypoint when Rank 3 and Rank 5 packages are available, and Players will lose Rank 3 packages if they are not retrieved before reaching Rank 5.
Bungie also teased that Iron Banner Clash could receive the new matchmaking settings favoring connection quality over skill.
If you’re wondering about the Light level 320 Crimson Days Ghost, Bungie said they’ll be delivered to qualifying players by February 23. They add, “One Chocolate or Crimson Ghost per account will be delivered to the Postmaster. Ensure your Postmaster has available space to avoid loss of any items residing within.”
Finally, beginning in March, Bungie plans on hosting a show once very week on Twitch. “Most streams will be casual hangouts – Ride Alongs, Bungie Bounties, that sort of thing. Some will be game reveals,” they said. They’ll also expose us “to new things we’re making” and introduce us to the people behind Destiny.
